Benin city on lockdown as protest looms in the state, Live videos from the protesters protesting against the cancellation of the old naira note as legal tender.

Due to the protest in the state businesses were lockdown, movement of people restricted properties are being vandalized. An attack on the central bank of Nigeria was foiled by a combined team of policemen, Nigerian security and civil defence corps where two people were killed and this led to the protesters attacking all the banks in the area, destroying ATMs in Akpkakpkava ..
