Tips:

If you score less than your school of choice cut-off mark you can check another schools and go for changing of institution, or changing of course on jamb portal

The things you have to consider is

The school address: It is not adviseable for student to go long distance

The tuition fee: this is one of the things you have to consider if your parent can afford the tuition fee cause it affect student a lot during examination or any test school management may decide not to conduct examination or test for the student that has not pay their tuition fee and also there are also many fees you are going to pay

The school environment: you have to consider the school environment if the school has conducive environment, the lecture rooms and so on

The school history: This is also one of the major things you have to consider, you have to consider if the school has good or bad history. About the management if they are managing the school well or not, if the school can operate one semester without strike, the security ,the student in the school, the lecturers are they capable of their work and so on

Also consider if the institution is own by state, if yes consider the government of the state
